2022: 17 coaches at institution in Finney County earned on average $59,359

Finney County’s 17 coaches earned an average salary of $59,359 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the seventh highest average salary per county earned by coaches at Kansas post-secondary schools during 2022.

Finney County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $63,430 on average in Finney County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $54,779.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
